Ireland at Expo, Tolerance and Inclusivity Theme Week
Global & Diaspora
14-20 November is Tolerance and Inclusivity Theme Week at Expo 2020 Dubai. Ireland’s journey on Tolerance and Inclusion issues has seen some significant milestones in recent years.
It is the Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth’s mission to enhance the lives of children, young people, adults, families and communities, recognising diversity and promoting equality of opportunity.
The video below outlines values and key priorities on T&I matters – ensuring that all voices are part of these conversations.
As part of a trade visit to the UAE, Leo Varadkar, An Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment participated in T&I events at Expo on 16 November.
This included a T&I Thematic Business Forum, with discussion focusing on Gender Employment in the Workplace. The Tánaiste also visited the Irish pavilion and attended an Enterprise Ireland event ahead of a performance of Riverdance.
